There was some sort of gathering here in April or May of 1965 at the circular street intersection (Cong Truong Me Linh) at the foot of Hai Ba Trung. A motor cyclo zips past while a private car and jitney bus are headed the other way. This was the landing point for the cross river ferry boat and pier location of intracoastal cargo ships.
